Description
Grammar is often challenging for my 7th graders. Each student comes to me with varying levels of knowledge about parts of speech and punctuation. My work is to teach them how & why words are best used to communicate the thoughts in the sentences and paragraphs they create.
Use this Grammar Word Wall to help your middle school students learn, recall, and apply the different grammar components you teach throughout the year.
I’ve found that many of the less common grammar components are difficult for my students to recall. By displaying this grammar wall in my classroom and referencing it during instruction, students will get more exposure to the concepts they need to revisit. Feel free to share any purposeful ways that these cards worked best for your students!
