Grab a glass of milk, snuggle up, and find out about all of the AMAZING goodies we teacher-bloggers like to whip up during this festive time of year!
I find that this time of year can get VERY expensive! There are a bazillion people I want to spread holiday cheer and show my family’s love and appreciation for, but buying gifts for EVERYONE is just not in the budget. So I head to the grocery store, arm myself with sweet supplies, and we make cookie pops! They are fool-proof, budget-friendly, and everyone LOVES them. To get started…
Buy these items…it will cost about $17 for all of the supplies depending on how many batches you choose to make. I made about 48 cookie pops for my neighbors.
By the time the holidays are over and I have given to everyone on my list, I will make about 3 more batches. To make more batches I will only need to buy more Oreos, Chocolate Bark Coating, and larger gift bags. I LOVE to give these to coaches, neighbors, school staff, and as hostess gifts.
Here is all you need to do…
I will share that the occasional cookie will break free from the stick and you will need to rescue it from the melted chocolate! You could throw it away, or do as I do…I tell my kids that I have to eat it to make sure that the chocolate isn’t poisonous because I would never want to harm our friends, teachers, mailman, sanitation workers, or neighbors:)
It doesn’t get much simpler. As a no frills kind of gal that loves to make and take goodies to ALL, this is the perfect no-bake treat. One last “goodie” I want to give you is this Winter Holiday Chit Chat Card FREEBIE! Use this resource to generate some great winter holiday discussion before you head out for winter break!
